I was born and raised in Ottawa, and now live in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. In May of 2016, I graduated from Holland College's 2 year CIS program with a diploma as a Computer Programmer Analyst.
I'm a bit of a PC gamer, but have recently taken on the realities of life, and now spend most of my time working (However I'm lucky to enjoy what I do quite a bit!)
Design and create full website with various pages, dynamically loading posts, custom searches, and an administrative control panel. This is a project for which I am volunteering deveopment work for, and providing server space/hosting.
A StarMade server with full custom plugins and website in C# and PHP. This project builds on-top of a server I am running for the game "StarMade". I currently host the #1 ranked server for the game, and to complement that have built a full server manager with a paired website which offers many features including automated server restarts, game server crash detection, daily vote rewards, an integrated web chat to communicate to other players on the website and within the game, a full account and private messaging database, and multiple custom in-game commands to expand on the game's features.
VP of Operations leading projects for internal resources, actively participating the new interview process of new candidates, expanding and maintaining internal QA processes, oversight of general department scheduling, opening and engaging communication and meetings with all department heads, monitoring employee morale and efficiency, reviewing workflow management across the board, and directing focused software development and program management goals.
Account manager dealing with and overseeing workflow, procedures, contract staff management, quality assurance, training, and scheduling for the Tier 1 Technical support team.
DevOps (Development & Operations) Engineer working with Cloud installations, with a focus on OpenStack KVM deployments, custom OS image builds, Linux based server configurations/management, and cPanel/WHM auto installations using self-developed software.
Tier 1 Technical support agent working with ticket help-desk and live chat support for web hosting customers, focused on cPanel/WHM administration.
Forums administration, bug tracking, account management, collection of feedback/suggestions, replying to user submitted tickets, and various PR work such as in-game events, contests. Also in charge of finding suitable personnel to be hired into roles such as Player Moderator, Forums Moderator, and Assistant Game Master followed by training and assigning tasks to those with these jobs.
